# Nerdy Ventures LLC > Your business has changed. Your software hasn't. Nerdy Ventures is a fractional software engineering department: we bring the systems you have up to date, connect the ones that don't talk, replace the ones past saving, and build what nobody sells off the shelf. Nerdy Ventures LLC is a Michigan limited liability company. Canonical site: https://nerdyventuresgroup.com ## Offerings ### Find out what you've got — $3,500–$7,500 Assessment, one to two weeks We talk to the people doing the work, map every system you run and how they connect, and put a number on the manual effort. You get a written report, a costed and prioritised plan, and a plain answer on where AI would pay in your business and where it wouldn't. Yours to keep, whether or not you hire us for the next step. Note: Credited in full against a project booked within 60 days ### Build what you need — $5,000–$75,000 Fixed-price project, typically 4 to 12 weeks Internal tools, connecting two systems that don't talk, reporting that currently takes a day by hand, or replacing the application nobody maintains any more. Fixed scope, fixed price, billed at milestones. Delivered running, documented, with your people trained on it. Note: Small, well-defined jobs skip the assessment and get a quote from one call ### Keep it running — From $1,500/mo Monthly agreement Somebody is finally responsible for the software. We look after the application and the infrastructure it runs on: updates, backups, monitoring, fixes, and changes as they come up. Same number every month, answered by the next business day. Note: Three-month minimum, then month to month on 30 days notice ### Something that doesn't fit these Bespoke engagement A longer build, a system that has to stay live while it is replaced, a mix of the three above, or a situation none of them describes. The structure here is a starting point, not a rule. Tell us what you actually need and we will shape an engagement around it, with the price agreed before work starts, same as everything else. Start: Tell us what you need at /contact/ ## Retainer tiers (part of "Keep it running") ### Essential — $1,500/mo Monitoring, backups, security patching, and fixing things when they break, covering the application and the infrastructure under it. Answered by the next business day. ### Standard — $3,000/mo Everything in Essential, plus changes and small improvements as you need them, and a monthly conversation about what is coming next. ### Extended — $4,500/mo Everything in Standard, with priority scheduling and room for larger pieces of work inside the month. ## Scope boundaries No help desk, no desktop support, no network administration, no printer triage. That is a real discipline and a genuinely useful one. It is simply not this one. If you need that side as well, we can point you at people who do it well. No overnight or weekend emergency line, and no staff augmentation. We answer by the next business day, and we’d rather tell you that now than promise otherwise and let you down when it matters. ## How to start Contact route: /contact/ 1. We read it and come back to you to suggest a time to talk. 2. Thirty minutes on the phone or a video call. We ask what the problem costs you and what you’ve tried. 3. You get a straight answer: a fixed quote, a proposal for a short assessment, or a referral to someone better placed. ## What does not exist yet No self-service signup: the client portal at /portal/ is for existing clients, and accounts are created by Nerdy Ventures rather than requested here. No online invoice payment on this site yet -- invoices are settled by ACH or check. ## Pages - https://nerdyventuresgroup.com/ — Nerdy Ventures LLC — A fractional software engineering department - https://nerdyventuresgroup.com/services/ — Services and pricing — Nerdy Ventures LLC - https://nerdyventuresgroup.com/about/ — How we work — Nerdy Ventures LLC - https://nerdyventuresgroup.com/contact/ — Book a call — Nerdy Ventures LLC - https://nerdyventuresgroup.com/privacy/ — Privacy — Nerdy Ventures LLC ## These pages as Markdown Every page above is also served as Markdown.
