# Privacy What this site collects, why, and how to stop it. Short, because there is not much to say. ## We do not sell anything about you, to anyone, ever. This site is operated by Nerdy Ventures LLC, a Michigan limited liability company. It is a marketing site: there is no account to create, nothing to log in to, and no shopping cart. There is no advertising on this site, no advertising network, no data broker, and no profile built about you. We do not sell, rent, or trade anything collected here. Nothing on this page is a promise we cannot keep. Every item below matches what the software actually does, and when the software changes, this page changes with it. [hello@nerdyventuresgroup.com](mailto:hello@nerdyventuresgroup.com). ## What is collected ### Analytics We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. It tells us how many people arrived, roughly where in the world from, which pages they looked at, and how they found us. It sets cookies in your browser to recognise a return visit, and Google processes that data on our behalf. We use it to answer one question: is any of this working. We do not use it to identify individual people, and we never combine it with anything you send us by email. ### Server logs Like every web server, ours records each request: the page requested, the time, the browser's user-agent string, and the IP address it came from. These logs exist to keep the site up and to spot abuse, they are kept for **30 days**, and then they are deleted automatically. They are stored on infrastructure we run ourselves. ### What you send us The contact form submits to our own server and we store what you send: your name, email address, company, the optional team-size and urgency answers, what you told us isn’t working, and any software you named. We store it because it is how we reply to you and how we keep track of a conversation that might take several weeks. Alongside it we record the time, the page you sent it from, the address your browser said it came from (the referring page), your browser’s user-agent string, and your IP address. That is there so we can tell a real enquiry from automated form spam, and so we can answer “where did this come from” honestly. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not shared with anyone. We keep it for as long as we might reasonably still be talking to you, and we do not sell it, rent it, or feed it to an advertising network — there isn’t one on this site. Email [hello@nerdyventuresgroup.com](mailto:hello@nerdyventuresgroup.com) and we will delete what we hold about you. Until 2026-09-19 this form did not submit anything to us at all — it opened your own email program instead. It changed so that an enquiry can’t be silently lost, and this page changed with it, the same day. ## Cookies The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics ones. They record an anonymous identifier so a second visit is not counted as a first, and they expire on their own. There is no cookie banner here. We would rather tell you plainly what is set and let you refuse it, than ask you to dismiss a dialog on a page you are trying to read. **To refuse them:** * Block or delete cookies for this site in your browser's settings. Nothing on this site breaks if you do. * Install Google's own [Analytics opt-out add-on](https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), which turns analytics off across every site that uses it. * Turn on your browser's tracking protection, or use a content blocker. We do not work around either one. ## Other companies involved Two, and only two, in the course of an ordinary visit: * **Google**, for the analytics described above. Google's handling of that data is covered by [Google's privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy). * **Our hosting provider**, which runs the physical server this site is served from and can see the same traffic any host can. Nothing else. No fonts, scripts, images, or embedded content is loaded from anyone else's servers — the typeface you are reading is served from this site, not from a font network, specifically so that reading this page tells no one but us that you were here. ## Your choices Email [hello@nerdyventuresgroup.com](mailto:hello@nerdyventuresgroup.com) to ask what we hold about you, to ask for it to be deleted, or to ask a question this page does not answer. You do not need a legal basis and you do not need to explain why. If you are in a place with specific data-protection rights — the UK, the EU, California, and others — those rights apply and we will honour them.
